Peter uses evidence-based interventions, a wealth of life understanding and experience, and an approach individually tailored to each client to assist with mental health goals. Peter sees both younger and older adults with varying mental health problems, for example depression, anxiety, or PTSD, and also assists those who may be experiencing feelings such as burdensomeness or hopelessness.
Peter is highly focused on the therapeutic relationship and uses a calm and relaxed manner, positive communication skills, empathy and understanding, and appropriate and subtle humour during therapy sessions.
Peter enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, and being active but also appreciates the value of a good power nap.
