Cancellation Policy

We understand that life can sometimes be unpredictable, however, when appointments are cancelled last minute it affects not only your therapy progress but also other clients that may be waiting urgently to see a therapist and also the therapist who has spent time and effort preparing for the appointment.

Our cancellation policy, therefore, asks that clients provide 7 business days’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If any changes or cancellations are made within 7 business days, the normal consultation fee will be charged.

This cancellation policy is in place to allows us to offer the allocated appointment to another client on our waitlist.

Non Face to Face Supports

Non-face-to-face supports are an essential step in achieving each participant’s goals. These supports are invoiced separately to face to face therapy supports.

We have listed some common examples of non-face-to-face supports:

  • Multidisciplinary team communication (verbally, phone, email, reports etc) – Our team regularly works in collaboration to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
  • Communication with external service providers – this can include teachers, GPs, paediatricians, external therapy providers, NDIS planners or support coordinators.
  • Resource Development – e.g visual schedules, communication placemats, therapy worksheets
  • Clinical Assessment and Research – Our therapists take time to thoroughly research, analyse and interpret clinical assessments for the specific needs of each client and how to achieve their goals – e.g researching assistive technology options

These items are charged at the same hourly rate as the direct face to face support.
