Denise
Denise has experience promoting mental health and wellbeing in educational, organisational and community settings, and works with individuals across the lifespan.
Denise’s main areas of practice include emotion dysregulation, behavioural and interpersonal difficulties, anxiety and mood disorders, life transitions, adjustment issues, and trauma-related disorders. Denise uses evidence-based frameworks to tailor her therapeutic approach to the individual needs of clients; including, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Art Therapy, Play-therapy, Mindfulness, and Trauma informed interventions.
Denise also has experience working within the ‘Australian Early Childhood Education framework’ working collaboratively with families, practitioners and educators to fulfil the needs of children experiencing disabilities or facing disadvantages, as well as other developmental challenges, such as, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), social, communication and behavioural issues.
Denise works with people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities and speaks fluent Spanish.
