Elaine completed her Graduate Diploma in Psychology and Bachelor of Behavioural Science Honours at the Queensland University of Technology. She has many years of experience working across various clinical settings, including forensic, disability, mental health, and private practice.
Elaine is a warm, empathetic psychologist who accepts the uniqueness of each individual. Elaine approaches therapy with a holistic view of the client in relation to their world and tailors her approach accordingly.
Elaine employs a range of approaches, including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, systemic principles, and various trauma-informed models, including EMDR.
Elaine has an interest in working with adolescents and adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma.
